Bill May (William May) was born on February 4, 1913. After going to high school at El Dorado (AR), May attended Louisiana State University. May made his professional debut in the NFL in 1937 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Cardinals for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1938 was Bill May's best year.
