Bill Matan (William Douglas Matan) was born on December 6, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri. After going to high school at Clevelamnd Academy (St. Louis, MO), Matan attended Kansas State University. Matan made his professional debut in the NFL in 1966 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 1 year career.
