Bill Lewis (William Henry Lewis) was born on October 15, 1904 in Ripley, Tennessee. He made his Major League debut on June 3, 1933 for the St. Louis Cardinals. Lewis played for the St. Louis Cardinals and Boston Braves over the course of his 3 year career.
