Bill Landis

Born on October 8, 1942 in Hanford, California, Bill Landis (William Henry Landis) played for the Kansas City Athletics and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 4 year career. Landis broke into the bigs on September 28, 1963 with the Kansas City Athletics, and put up a 3.15 ERA in 60 innings pitched in 1968, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Bill Landis's best season was 1968, when he posted a 3.15 ERA and struck out 59 batters.
