Bill Kunkel

Born on July 7, 1936 in Hoboken, New Jersey, Bill Kunkel (William Gustave James Kunkel) played for the Kansas City Athletics and New York Yankees over the course of his 3 year career. Kunkel broke into the bigs on April 15, 1961 with the Kansas City Athletics, and put up a 5.18 ERA in 88.2 innings pitched in 1961, his rookie year.
