Bill Krieg (William Frederick Krieg) was born on January 29, 1859 in Petersburg, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on April 20, 1884 for the Chicago Browns. In 1884, his rookie year, he hit .247 with 0 home runs and 0 RBI. Krieg played for the Chicago Browns, Chicago White Stockings, Brooklyn Trolley Dodgers and Washington Senators over the course of his 4 year career.
