Bill Kollar (William Wallace Kollar) was born on November 27, 1952 in Warren, Ohio. After going to high school at Warren G. Harding (Warren, OH), Kollar attended Montana State University. Kollar made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the Cincinnati Bengals. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Cincinnati Bengals over the course of his 8 year career.

Most people believe that 1979 was Bill Kollar's best year, as he recovered 4 opponents fumbles.
