Bill Knickerbocker

Bill Knickerbocker (William Hart Knickerbocker) was born on December 29, 1911 in Los Angeles, California. He made his Major League debut on April 12, 1933 for the Cleveland Indians. In 1933, his rookie year, he hit .226 with 2 home runs and 32 RBI. Knickerbocker played for the Cleveland Indians, St. Louis Browns, New York Yankees, Chicago White Sox and Philadelphia Athletics over the course of his 10 year career.
Most people believe that Bill Knickerbocker's best season was 1936, when he hit for a .294 average and knocked in 73 runs.
