Bill Knecht (William George Knecht) in Cincinnati, Ohio. After going to high school at East Side (Cincinnati, OH), Knecht attended Xavier University. Knecht made his professional debut in the NFL in 1925 with the Dayton Triangles. He played for the Dayton Triangles for his entire 1 year career.
