Bill Kennedy (William James Kennedy) was born on March 13, 1919 in Lee, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Northwestern (Detroit, MI), Kennedy attended Michigan State University. Kennedy made his professional debut in the NFL in 1942 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Boston Yanks and Detroit Lions over the course of his 2 year career.
