Bill Hillman (William Joseph Hillman) was born on November 11, 1921 in Erie, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Kane (PA), Hillman attended the University of Tennessee. Hillman made his professional debut in the NFL in 1947 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 1 year career.
