Bill Glynn (William Vincent Glynn) was born on July 30, 1925 in Sussex, New Jersey. He made his Major League debut on September 16, 1949 for the Philadelphia Phillies. In 1953, his rookie year, he hit .243 with 3 home runs and 30 RBI. Glynn played for the Philadelphia Phillies and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 4 year career.
