Bill Fischer (William Fischer) was born on March 10, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Lane Tech (Chicago, IL), Fischer attended the University of Notre Dame. Fischer made his professional debut in the NFL in 1949 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Cardinals for his entire 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1952 was Bill Fischer's best year.
