Bill Farmer (William Charles Farmer) was born on February 13, 1864 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on May 1, 1888 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Farmer played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Philadelphia Athletics over the course of his 1 year career.
