Bill Everitt (William Lee Everitt) was born on December 13, 1868 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He made his Major League debut on April 18, 1895 for the Chicago Colts. In 1895, his rookie year, he hit .358 with 3 home runs and 88 RBI. Everitt played for the Chicago Colts, Chicago Orphans and Washington Senators over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that Bill Everitt's best season was 1895, when he stole 47 bases, hit for a .358 average and knocked in 88 runs.
