Bill Erickson (William Clarence Erickson) was born on December 4, 1921. After going to high school at Bayside (Queens, NY), Erickson attended the University of Mississippi and the University of North Carolina. Erickson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1948 with the New York Giants. He played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the New York Giants the entire time. Erickson also played in the AAFC for 1 year, playing for the New York Yankees the entire time.
