Bill Elko (William Elko) was born on December 28, 1959 in New York, New York. After going to high school at Windber (PA), Elko attended Arizona State University and Louisiana State University. Elko made his professional debut in the NFL in 1983 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Diego Chargers and Indianapolis Colts over the course of his 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1984 was Bill Elko's best year.
