Bill Cooke (William Morrill Cooke) was born on February 26, 1951 in Lowell, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Worcester Academy (Worcester, MA), Cooke attended the University of Connecticut and the University of Massachusetts. Cooke made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that 1980 was Bill Cooke's best year.
