Bill Clancy (William Edward Clancy) was born on April 12, 1879 in Redfield, New York. He made his Major League debut on April 14, 1905 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1905, his rookie year, he hit .229 with 2 home runs and 34 RBI. Clancy played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 1 year career.
