Bill Burgo (William Ross Burgo) was born on November 15, 1919 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on September 22, 1943 for the Philadelphia Athletics. Burgo played for the Philadelphia Athletics for his entire 2 year career.
