Bill Brubaker (Wilbur Lee Brubaker) was born on November 7, 1910 in Cleveland, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on September 8, 1932 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1936, his rookie year, he hit .289 with 6 home runs and 102 RBI. Brubaker played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Boston Braves over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that Bill Brubaker's best season was 1936, when he hit for a .289 average and knocked in 102 runs.
