Bill Bishop (William Eugene Bihsop) was born on May 8, 1931 in Borger, Texas. After going to high school at Borger (TX), Bishop attended the University of North Texas. Bishop made his professional debut in the NFL in 1952 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings over the course of his 10 year career.
Most people believe that 1958 was Bill Bishop's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
