Big Mac's Big Run on Boston

You have to like Steve McIntyre. The Providence Bruins left wing fought his way through five leagues in six years to get to within striking distance of an NHL career. Like a lot of people, MacIntyre did not suffer from a lack of talent, but from a lack of belief in that talent. Rooming with a major league vet who had the self-discipline to get to the bigs, and the right coaching gave Steve the idea that he was wasting his time gooning it up in the U-Haul (UHL). He rebuilt his other hockey skills, and now finds himself a top talent in the Boston Bruins organization.

All I know is that this guy is ranting about someone that I've never heard about on the private chat. I finally figure out what he is talking about, but I still don't know this person. Since 2000 we've done fundraisers for guys that got hurt on the field, or for people like the Coolbaugh family fund to help out the wife and children left behind. I don't know this NiteOwl, but, instead of being cool and explaining it, Sir-Flame-A-Lot here continued to drop insults and weakly masked f-bombs. For the person who finds themselves on hard times, I have great sympathy, even if I don't know them. For someone who can only rage at the machine, I don't. Someone wants to be less of a jerk than Ty and show me where I can find something outside of his psycho thread, I'm all ears. MLN Sports has done more than its share of community and pro bono work over the years. I don't care much for Ty, but the messenger and the message may be different. Someone sane, please enlighten me.

Of course, I refuse to believe for one facking second that you "don't know" about NiteOwl. If so, then you indeed live in a vacuum.

You solicit help for Coolbaugh and the others through your site, which means you have to be a paying member to see the info and contribute. Fat chance you doing it out of the goodness of your heart. From what I've seen the only time you reach out is when there's a hand reaching back to you.
