Bo Jackson - Tecmo Bowl

Tom Chambers - 1 on 1: Jordan vs. Bird

'Paste' from Jersey - Bases loaded

Babe from 'Baseball Stars'

The reverse play on John Elway's QB

The full court shot that anyone could make in Double Dribble

Mike Vick on Madden

Penny Hardaway on NBA Jamz

The big fat dude on Nintendo Ice Hockey

Pavel Bure on NHL '94

These is a partial list of players and plays already in the Video Game Hall of Fame... there are manny more, of course...

What are the BEST Video games?

AND who are the teams, players or plays that when you played with your buddies, no one was allowed to use because they were a ridiculously unfair advantage?

It was either 1999 or 2000, but the game "NFL Quarterback Club" was so easy that any QB could fake a pass play, and scramble 90 yards for a touchdown. Yes, any QB could do it. After 15 minutes of the same play over and over again, it got pretty boring.

Whenever my brother tried it, it lead to a fumble, because I'd knock down the QB before the lateral back.

I would say the entire "American Dreams" team on Baseball Stars would qualify. More from that game include Kagenu and Oh from Japan Robins. I've got a QB on my NCAA 2006 dynasty that is a 99 with 88 speed. He's pretty untouchable. I'm in the 2019-2020 season with Oregon.

well, thanks for travelling back to 2006 and join us in reality! + for you - I would love to see someone chronicle a video game season or franchise - like a non-reality reality show

Nice list, but one glaring omission: Jeremy Roenick in NHLPA Hockey for the Genesis. Best videogame athlete ever...

On Formula One 2000, there was at least one shortcut on each track - and you couldn't use the "short-cut" rule. NHL 2K3, with a Lefthander against a Lefthanded goalie, you skate with the puck to the right of the net, then cut back and shoot toward the blocker. Scored 5 a game easily. On TOCA 2, (racing game) whenever you get hit by a car, you suffer damage, never the other car (as severely). You can have fun ramming into everybody...

the reason why he was so good on that game was because of an actual dunk he had on Mark Jackson the season before...he went to go up over Jackson to dunk him, kinda caught his knees on his chest and kept going up! Can someone please find this video?

On HHMLB2003, if you bunt with a speedy lefty, he can make it safely to first. On "Rolland Garros 2001", the player at the bottom of the screen was infinitely easier to control than the one at the top of the screen. Also, serve-volleying always worked. And every game's mode, which allows a close game, e.g. it becomes easier to score if you trail 8-0 than if it was 8-8. Worst game mode ever invented.

Don't have anything new to add but Paste was just insane on Bases Loaded. His in-game stats had him batting over .400 with 60 some homeruns I think. It was a shock anytime you DIDN'T hit a homerun with him.

Mike Tyson in Mike Tyson's Punch Out was the greatest boxer of all time. Always knocked you out on one punch if he landed it, and two if you were lucky enough to block the first one.

Any early NHL game:

All you did was go across the goalie in a horizontal line...instant score

In nhl 98, i use that move and a few slapper...won something like 180-0...set on easy, but it was way easy, especially against the chinese...

I was unstoppable with Reggie Lewis in NBA JAM the year after he died. I don't know if they screwed with his ratings in memoriam or what but if you were at Fieldston Billiards circa '94 I waxed you with Lewis doing most of the damage. And where's Jeremy Roenick?

Lawrence Taylor in the original Tecmo Bowl. He would block every field goal. He was the Bo Jackson of "D" in that game. Also Walter Payton bullet pass could never be intercepted. You could run back 40 yards and it would be a 60 yard bullet completion everytime.
