Best Football Team Ever?

I would have to go with the Packers in 1st and 2nd Superbowls, those teams led by Bart Starr and coach Lombardi were crazy good

Another good one is the 2000 Ravens, even though I think the 85 Bears are better as they had better balance of offense and defense

The 1985 Bears are the easy pick, so I'm going to try to make a case for another team. I know it's not technically "one team," but you'll see where I'm getting at. I'm picking the 1997/1998 and 1998/1999 Denver Broncos. First, the Broncos go 8-0 at home, finish 12-4 overall, and win their first Superbowl. Then, they start the next season 13-0 (which extends their win streak to 18 games overall, including the last years playoffs), once again go 8-0 at home, end up 14-2, and go on to defend their second straight championship with another Super Bowl win. Including the playoffs, the Broncos go 33-6 over the two year span, making their run one of the greatest in the history of the NFL.

If your talking about the the Broncos from the late 90's, then you cannot leave out the the Cowboys from 91-96. They brought in 3 Super Bowls. They had balance on offense and defense. Three Hall of Famers on the Offensive side, at least 1 on the defensive side. Not to mention a guru of a coach (for the first 2 Super Bowls) and his scheme for the third.

For the sake of being a homer, i go with the 1990 eagles adn what I consider the greatest defense ever. '98 broncos are good, the cowboys (I hate saying that) of 1993, the '95 time had flaws and was really just a lower version of the 93 team. The 85 bears and 72 dolphins are good ones. No one mentions any 49ers teams or the 2004 pats? Wanna go oldschool? the 50s Colts are always good or the 60s packers...

One of my favorite teams is the 1984 niners.
