Bert Zagers (Bert Aldon Zagers) was born on January 30, 1933 in Fremont, Michigan. After going to high school at Cadillac (MI), Zagers attended Michigan State University. Zagers made his professional debut in the NFL in 1955 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1955 was Bert Zagers's best year, as he ran back a punt for a touchdown.
