Bert Myers (James Albert Myers) was born on April 8, 1874 in Frederick, Maryland. He made his Major League debut on April 25, 1896 for the St. Louis Perfectos. In 1896, his rookie year, he hit .256 with 0 home runs and 37 RBI. Myers played for the St. Louis Perfectos, Washington Senators and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 3 year career.
