Bert Corley (Elbert E. Corley) was born on September 9, 1920 in Okolona, Mississippi. Corley attended Mississippi State University. Corley made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1947 with the Buffalo Bills. He played for the Baltimore Colts and Buffalo Bills over the course of his 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1947 was Bert Corley's best year.
