Bert Adams (John Bertram Adams) was born on June 21, 1891 in Wharton, Texas. He made his Major League debut on August 30, 1910 for the Cleveland Naps. In 1918, his rookie year, he hit .176 with 0 home runs and 12 RBI. Adams played for the Cleveland Naps and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 8 year career.
