Bernie Leahy (Bernard Philip Leahy) was born on August 15, 1908 in , IL. After going to high school at St. Mel's (Chicago, IL), Leahy attended the University of Notre Dame. Leahy made his professional debut in the NFL in 1932 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 1 year career.
