Bernie Kapitansky (Bernard Kapitansky) was born on January 1, 1921 in Brooklyn, New York. Kapitansky attended Long Island University. Kapitansky made his professional debut in the NFL in 1942 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for his entire 1 year career.
