Bernie Darre (Bernard John Darre) was born on November 8, 1939 in New Orleans, Louisiana. After going to high school at Fortier (New Orleans, LA), Darre attended Tulane University. Darre made his professional debut in the NFL in 1961 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 1 year career.
