CAREER: Junior walk-on who joined the team in time for spring practice in 2006...Attended Scottsdale (Ariz.) CC...In 2004 was the backup quarterback on the No. 5-ranked team in the country that finished with a 9-2 record...Sports administration major.
2006 (SOPHOMORE): Practiced as a member of the scout team but did not see any game action.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played quarterback in high school...As a senior, completed 97 of 173 attempts for 1,500 yards and 10 touchdowns...Honorable mention All-Dade County...Awarded All-District honors as a senior...Named team's Most Valuable Player and high school's Athlete of the Year as a senior...Nominated to play in the Dade-Broward All-Star game...Lettered two years in football, two years in basketball and two years in golf...Awarded honorable mention All-Dade County for basketball as a senior...Awarded President's List for posting a 3.75 G.P.A....Coached by Robert Fernandez.
