Ben Taylor (Benjamin Eugene Taylor) was born on September 30, 1927 in Metropolis, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on July 29, 1951 for the St. Louis Browns. Taylor played for the St. Louis Browns, Detroit Tigers and Milwaukee Braves over the course of his 3 year career.
