Bend in the USA...

(Roc) David Beckham has finally landed in the U.S. and will make his official debut with Major League Soccer for the LA Galaxy. Beckham is NASTY and known for bending the ball as well as anyone ever has. The question at hand is will he make MLS mainstream in the US? I hope so, we are missing out on a very entertaining sport, other countries pretty much riot at every game its get so intense, we barely know what MLS stands for. It needs some marketing and education on the sport for non soccer fans to have a chance of being interested, and that is sad compared its popularity outside the US. First they need to work on the names... LA Galaxy? It sounds like a little girls dance team.

Right now most americans know him as the guy thats married to Posh Spice, and if that means more pictures of her... Move over Johnny Appleseed, because we have found our true American Hero.
