I tried this stunt at Stupid Sideline Reporters, and now I ask you, if Ben Wallace and Shaquille O'Neal were to shoot 500 free throws, who would make more? Put into perspective that Ben Wallace was a 27% free-throw shooter in College.

um, whoever has a higher career percentage would make more. that's what percentages mean.

Shaq has a season 42% free throw percentage; Wallace has a season 41% free throw percentage. Therefore Shaq would narrowly edge out Wallace. (Yes, I actually took the time to look that up. I'm bored here at work)

You should have to go by career percentage because as Rob said more is more. However 50 freethrows is not a large enough sample pool to answer that question
