Ben Scotti (Benjamin Joseph Scotti) was born on June 9, 1937 in Newark, New Jersey. After going to high school at St. Benedict's Prep (Newark, NJ), Scotti attended the University of Maryland. Scotti made his professional debut in the NFL in 1959 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins, Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1960 was Ben Scotti's best year, as he picked off 4 passes.
