Ben Reed (H. Benton Reed) was born on May 7, 1963 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After going to high school at Woodlawn (Baton Rouge, LA), Reed attended the University of Mississippi. Reed made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the New England Patriots. He played for the New England Patriots for his entire 1 year career.
