Born on May 19, 1957 in Mount Airy, North Carolina, Ben Callahan (Benjamin Franklin Callahan) played for the Oakland Athletics for his entire 1 year career. Callahan broke into the bigs on June 22, 1983 with the Oakland Athletics.
