Signed as a free agent with Toronto on April 10, 2008.
2007:
Frankfurt Galaxy
Signed as a free agent with the Frankfurt Galaxy of NFL Europa and played in every game.
2006:
Cleveland Browns
Signed with the Cleveland Browns (NFL) as an undrafted free agent on May 8 and released on July 30.
College:
National Collegiate Athletic Association
Earned second-team All-Ivy Honours in 2005 after starting in all 10 games at left tackle and served as co-captain…Won the team’s Ronald A. Rogerson Award for his spirit and love of the game…Started all 10 games in 2004 at left tackle after moving from the defensive line…Started eight of 10 games at defensive tackle in 2003…Dressed at defensive tackle as a freshman in 2002.
Personal:
Ben is the son of Mark and Michele and has a younger brother named Bret. He majored in electrical engineering at Princeton and competed in football, wrestling and track & field at Mankato Loyola H.S. During the off-season he works as an IT consultant and recently worked in CAD design for an aerospace engineering company in Minnesota. He enjoys working out, listening to rock music and working with computers in his spare time.
