Battle In New York

The New York Giants win against the New York Jets, brings confidences. A 3-2 record gives the Giants a chance to compete. The Dallas Cowboys are leading the NFC East, but the complacence isn't over. The Washington Redskins are cruising, and the Giants aren't giving up.
Success wasn't presupposed, but now it’s materializing. The Giants are succeeding, and using their talent. "We have a lot of things that we can correct," said Jets running back Thomas Jones, "The good thing is, a lot of the situations that we've been in, we've done a lot of things to hurt ourselves with penalties and not taking advantage of big opportunities. Those are things we can correct." The Jets mistakes helped the Giants win. A 3-2 record isn't good, but its better then .500.
In their game against the Jets, the Giants were in trouble. A second half effort gives them the victory.
Eli Manning played decent, passing for 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. Manning still needs improvement, but he's getting victories. He isn't a leader, and never will be. Mannings just plays football, and doesn't play with fire. He isn't Peyton Manning, and will never have that much success.
The first quarter, Kerry Rhodes scored off Brandon Jacobs's fumble. The Jets lead, 7-0.
The Giants scored in the second; Derrick Ward rushed for a touchdown. The score was 7-7.
Chad Pennington passed to Brad Smith for a touchdown. In the second quarter, the score was 14-7.
Late in the second, Mike Nugent kicked a field goal. The Jets lead, 17-7.
Early in the third, Jacobs rushed for a touchdown. It was a 19 yard gain; the score was 17-14.
Next drive, Leon Washington returned his kick off for a touchdown. The score was 24-14.
Manning passed to Jeremy Shockey for a touchdown. The Giants were competing, 24-21.
The fourth quarter, the Giants took control. Manning passed to Plaxico Burress, and that give the Giants their lead. 24-28.
With 3:15 left in the game. Aaron Ross intercepted Pennington's pass for a touchdown. The Giants finished the game, 35-24.
The Jets were going to lose; "their not making the playoffs". Not enough talent and no leadership.
Pennington's struggles continue, and nothing helps. There's no confidence in his throwing ability, and it hurts the Jets. Leadership is needed from the quarterback, and the Jets don't have it.
Pennington should be traded, or released.
A quarterback with leadership will help, with no injury problems. I wouldn't be surprised if Pennington gets injured again this season.
Just expected another losing season!
