Basil Mitchell (Basil Mucktar Mitchell) was born on September 7, 1975 in Pittsburgh, Texas. After going to high school at Mount Pleasant (TX), Mitchell attended Texas Christian University. Mitchell made his professional debut in the NFL in 1999 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1999 was Basil Mitchell's best year, as he had 464 kick return yards and ran back a kickoff for a touchdown.
