Baseball needs to modernize

There are many things about baseball that made me lose interest in the sport altogther. Most of it revolves around its tradition and lack of innovation. The fact that MLB does not use video replays to judge close calls is ridiculous. They have the technology why not use it? I'm not saying that video replays should be used to determine strikes and balls but it certainly needs to be used for close plays, especially the ones that can change the outcome of a game or season. Cricket uses video replays for deciding run-out calls and close catches. The NFL and NHL, not sure about the NBA uses the technology, why not MLB? Why must MLB remain behind other professional sports leagues, with such things as their ridiculously stingy playoff structures, making a big deal out of interleague play, and not using video replays for close calls? MLB needs to modernize or it will lose fans, it's already lost one, me!
