Bart Miadich
[edit] Biography
Born on February 3, 1976 in Torrance, California, Bart Miadich (John Barton Miadich) played for the Anaheim Angels for his entire 2 year career. Miadich broke into the bigs on September 2, 2001 with the Anaheim Angels.
Miadich was also one of the players named in baseball's Mitchell Report. According to the report, Miadich was referred to former Mets clubhouse attendant Kirk Radomski by Adam Riggs. Radomski allegedly sold Miadich small quantities of steroids, specifically testosterone and Winstrol, on a regular basis. Radomski also claims that he spoke to Miadich on a regular basis, and that Miadich confided in Radomski that he was getting HGH elsewhere. Teammate Chad Allen has said that there were warning signs pointing to Miadich's steroid use, among these the tightness of his skin and "roid rage." Miadich's name, address, and telephone number were found in the address book of Radomski that was seized during a federal investigation. Miadich declined to meet with investigators for the Mitchell Report.
