Barry Pinches (born 13 July 1970) is an English professional snooker player, instantly recognisable for his fabulously bright waistcoats, which usually feature the yellow and green colours of Norwich City F.C.. He defeated Jimmy White in the 2004 World Snooker Championship, and has lost in the first round twice more. In recent years he has achieved stronger results than ever, and is currently established in the world's top 32 - advancing 82-56-36-21 in the rankings over a strong seqeunce of seasons up to 2003/2004. His best ever ranking tournament run was to the quarter finals of the 2003 UK Championship.
