Barry Manuel

Born on August 12, 1965 in Mamou, Louisiana, Barry Manuel (Barry Paul Manuel) played for the Texas Rangers, Montreal Expos, New York Mets and Arizona Diamondbacks over the course of his 5 year career. Manuel broke into the bigs on September 6, 1991 with the Texas Rangers, and put up a 3.24 ERA in 86 innings pitched in 1996, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Barry Manuel's best season was 1996, when he posted a 3.24 ERA and struck out 62 batters.
