Barry French

Barry French (Barry A. French) was born on February 12, 1922 in Chamberlin, South Dakota. After going to high school at Washington (Sioux Falls, ID), French attended Purdue University. French made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1947 with the Baltimore Colts. He played in the AAFC for 2 years, playing for the Baltimore Colts the entire time. French also played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the Detroit Lions and Baltimore Colts over the course of his 2 year NFL career.
Most people believe that 1947 was Barry French's best year.
