Barry Bonds Balls - No One Bidding to Hold Them

I know I know – another story about balls

Tuesday marked the opening for Barry Bonds' 755th and 756th home run balls.  As of 0830 EST NO BIDS have been offered with 17 days left.  The balls are registered as consignment with Sotheby’s (SCP).  The minimum bids are set at $60,000 for ball number 755 while the Record Breaking Ball 756 is set at a minimum bid of $100,000.

Sotheby’s feels that everyone is waiting until about 09/15/07 – minutes before the bidding is scheduled to close.  Past Bonds balls went for: $102,000 -#700 and $220,000 for ball #715    

I am sure the balls will sell – that is not this issue – it is just fun to see NO BIDDERS so far.  Click to track the bidding status right now.

I wouldn't buy a ball that was tainted either.

I didnt realize Bonds had any BALLS, otherwise he would have come clean like Giambi did!!!!

Thats what happens at most online, silent acuticons wait till the last second to bid. This is because you bid early that just jacks up the price higher at the end if you are serious about buying that item. I would not take that ball from you for free its taited and everyone knows it . Except in san francisco were the people there must be in denial or somthing.
