Barney Traynor (Bernard Philip Traynor) was born on November 24, 1896 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. After going to high school at South Division (Milwaukee, WI), Traynor attended Colgate University. Traynor made his professional debut in the NFL in 1925 with the Milwaukee Badgers. He played for the Milwaukee Badgers for his entire 1 year career.
