Barney Chavous

Barney Chavous (Barney Lewis Chavous) was born on March 22, 1951 in Aiken, South Carolina. After going to high school at Schofield (Aiken, SC), Chavous attended South Carolina State University. Chavous made his professional debut in the NFL in 1973 with the Denver Broncos. He played for the Denver Broncos for his entire 13 year career.
Most people believe that 1984 was Barney Chavous's best year, as he recorded 7.5 sacks.
